Camp Juniper Knoll - An unofficial fan-type site

This is an unofficial Camp Juniper Knoll (JK) website. I claim no ownership and I have no intention of taking anything away from the original owners.

JK is an all girls residential camp on the outskirts of East Troy, WI. It is run by the Chicago Council of Girl Scouting (may have changed by now -2009). It has it's own lake and island, and each of the many camp sites have different themes. The camp runs for various lengths of time all through the summer. During the winter, troops can winter camp at one of four cabins with council permission.

During the time period of 1989 through 1996, Lou McLeod was a camp counselor in various stages. She was the one who started this page/microsite.

I am looking for other staff or campers who might be interested in giving a helping hand to this site. Perhaps make this an interesting scrapbook type site. Who knows. I am interested in hosting an essay page as well. I would love to hear the ideas and events that formed fond or perhaps not so fond memories of your camping experiences.

Some ideas I was toying with seem not to have panned out, but I still would like to get this page up some day. I also threw in some links at the bottom. One of them is even 2009!recent.

• I would like to post a copy of generic and special Summer Camp Programs. Email me to help.
• I need pictures. I have a few pictures I scanned in from when I was a Counselor-In-Training. However, I don't have too many others and all need to be scanned. Do you have digital photos you would like to donate to website? I will definitely add your name and credit you however you like.
• Staff and camper memories, quips, quotes, comments and other tidbits about their experiences.
